Is Blurt free?
Yes. Dictation and local meeting transcripts are free and unlimited, forever. Pro adds cloud summaries, sync across devices and your full archive for $12 a month, or $10 billed yearly.
Which Linux distributions are supported?
Any modern 64-bit distribution through Flathub or AppImage. We test Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, Arch and Pop!_OS on every release, on both Wayland and X11, with PipeWire or PulseAudio.
Why does Blurt ask for so many permissions?
Three, each for one job: the microphone to hear you, system audio to hear the call, and on Mac Accessibility so dictation can type into other apps. The setup page walks you through each one.
Can IT deploy Blurt across a company?
Yes. Use the Windows MSI for silent installs, or the Mac .pkg through your device management tool. Team plans add admin controls and a security overview for your review.
